De Poolse sopraan Dagmara Siuty studeerde bij Maria CzechowskaKrólicka aan de Academy of Music in Wrocław (Polen) en bij Annette Kleine aan het ArtEZ Conservatorium te Enschede. In februari 2009 studeerde zij af bij Riekje Bakker aan het ArtEZ Conservatorium te Zwolle. In juni 2012 slaagde ze als Master of Music, een opleiding die ze volgde bij Riekje Bakker, Harry van Berne en bij Alison Pearce (Royal Academy of Music, Londen). Momenteel wordt zij gecoacht door Neil Semer en Hanneke de Wit.
Dagmara treedt op met oratorium-, lied- en operarepertoire. Zij is freelance lid van het koor van De Nationale Reisopera. Met vocaal ensemble Exicon trad Dagmara op met moderne klassieken, die ook haar specialisatie vormen. Daarnaast zingt Dagmara projecten met Consensus Vocalis, onder leiding van Klaas Stok, en zong ze met Capella Frisiae en Ars Musica onder leiding van Patrick van der Linden. Regelmatig trad zij op in de diverse liedklasprojecten van het ArtEZ Conservatorium, onder leiding van Marien van Nieukerken met medewerking van diverse gastdocenten.
In 2011 en 2012 nam zij deel aan het Meesters & Gezellen project van het Nederlands Kamerkoor (NKK), Capella Amsterdam en Stichting Tettix onder leiding van de Letse dirigent Kaspars Putniņš. In november 2012 zong zij met het NKK de Vespers van S. Rachmaninov in het Concertgebouw Amsterdam voor het programma Spiegelzaal onder leiding van Risto Joost. In 2013 nam Dagmara deel aan het operaproject “The Fairy Queen” van H. Purcell uitgevoerd door De Nederlandse Reisopera. In 2015 zal zij voor dit gezelschap actief zijn in de opera’s “Les pêcheurs de perles” van G. Bizet, “Orphée et Euridice” van C.W. Gluck en “Madama Butterfly” van G. Puccini. In de agenda staan voorts twee producties bij de Nederlandse Reisopera in 2017. In 2014 werd zij freelancer bij het Groot Omroepkoor. Dagmara neemt als koorlid geregeld deel aan opnames en concerten van het Metropole Orkest.
Zij nam deel aan masterclasses van bas-bariton Charles van Tassel, baritons Jerzy Artysz, Meinard Kraak, David Wilson-Johnson, Lodewijk Meeuwsen, tenor Bernard Loonen, mezzosopranen Christa Pfeiler en Margriet van Reisen, sopranen Alison Pearce, Johanette Zomer, Barbara Hannigan, Claudia Patacca en Roberta Alexander, moderne muziekspecialist pianist Tan Crone en pianist Rudolf Jansen. Dagmara nam deel aan diverse operaprojecten geregisseerd door Michiel Dijkema, Claudia Christern en Elsina Jansen en de operamasterclass van De Nederlandse Reisopera.
Met de Russische pianiste Sofia Vasheruk vormt Dagmara een vast liedduo.
Sofia Vasheruk was born on 14th May 1988 in Moscow. She began playing the piano at the age of 4. After half a year she was accepted to study piano in Moscow Gnesin`s College with prof. A. Traub. Already at the age of 6 she was giving performances in Germany as a solo pianist and as an accompanist for a choir.
In 2000 Sofia won the Special Prize at the N. Rubinstein Piano Competition in Moscow. In 2003 she finished Moscow Gnesin`s Music College and continued her studying in Chopin Music College in Moscow with prof. K. Knorre. During that period Sofia took part at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede (The Netherlands) and won the 3rd Prize. The next year she was invited to give several recitals there. Also she became a laureate at the National Competition/Festival of the Romantic Music for Young Musicians in Moscow (March 2007).
Completing her studies “cum laude” in 2007 she was invited to continue her education in the Netherlands with prof. Michail Markov (ArtEZ Conservatory, Enschede). In May 2008 she won the 3rd Prize and the Special Prize of The Youngest Finalist at the Sigismund Thalberg International Piano Competition (Naples, Italia). In 2008 she started playing in a Duo with Daniel Herman Mostert (baritone) and in 2009 they won the Special Prize “Vrienden van het Lied” at the 1st International Lied Duo Competition in the Netherlands.
The interest for tango music from childhood brought her to start playing this music herself and in 2008 she became a part of Siestango Quartet where she found herself in promoting and developing various ranges of this music style. In 2009 she played in Amsterdam as one of the winners of National Dutch Festival “Grachtenfestival”. The same year she got the 1st Prize in Rhodes International Music Festival Competition.
In May 2010 she was accepted to participate in Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and had reached the semifinal. The same month she won the 2nd Prize and the Press Prize at National Dutch Competition “Koffie bij de Piano” in Den Bosch. Later on she took the 1st Prize at the 4th André Dumortier International Piano Competition in Belgium and the Special Prize for the contemporary piece “Espaces oniriques II” of Jean-Pierre Deleuze, written specially for this competition.
In 2012 Sofia successfully completed her bachelor degree in the Netherlands with the best possible mark (10 of 10). Sofia is one of the finalists of International Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition in Bolzano, Italy (2013)
In November 2013 she won the 3rd Prize at the biggest Dutch National Piano Competition “Young Pianists Foundation” in Amsterdam, performing the Tchaikovsky piano concerto No. 1 in the big hall of Muziekgebouw aan `t IJ with Noord Nederlands Orkest directed by Stefan Asbury.
Since 2013 Sofia is actively supported and promoted by International Knee and Hip Center Malta Ltd.
Sofia has graduated from Artez Conservatory in Enschede in August 2014 and got her Master Degree Diploma ‘Cum Laude’.
Now she regularly gives concerts as a solo pianist and as a part of various chamber ensembles, such as the duo with Daniel Herman Mostert (baritone) as members of VVHL Foundation, “Extra Piano duo” with Andrey Nesterenko (piano), duo with Yaroslav Abaimov (tenor), member of Siestango Quartet, and many other musicians.
